tom,using a efficiant internal reactor,and if plants are going to pearl,how long after lights on before this should accur?how much time is cut by useing the mist method?i am now trying the mist way,setting spray bar vertically with eheim co2 diffuser just in front of spray bar at lower end blowing to other end of tank.inlet of canister is next to spray bar.will this work o.k? regards,cornhusker

1-to 2 hours you should see pearling, the latest will be about 3-4 hours.
Depends on other factors, if those are good, then that is what you should see.

So do you have pearling or?
Decent current will provide decent pearling, some have said that the pearling is reduced by high current, but good current and flow(eg a 125gph in a 20 gal tank with a spray bar and some surface movement causes the tank to pearl like nuts) should not influence it that much.

i have strong current in my tank (spray bar, with powerful filter), and my plants pearl almost all day while swaying in the current.
