Overflow and c02 degassing

Hi all,

Here is a picture of the waterfall in my weirs.

Do you think this is sufficient to limit the degassing effect?

Or, should I also try to cover it somehow?

Yes, that is Riccia growing emersed on the right side of the ''gate'.

That is about the level of overflow that I have also. I found that I had to add a tad more CO2 to compensate. But I'm already seeing marked improvements. Long term will be the true determination though.

2-4 inches is fine.
