Seems to be the case. Mouse over turns the 'calculate' button black and is still a clickable button but on mouse down gives no return, load etc.

Works if I choose "Result of my dose" but not if I choose "EI". Didn't try anything else.

Hi Slobadan. What exactly you think is wrong there? The 1 gram value? Should that be different? Please, tell me more... thanks!

Good catch Slobodan! For some reason nobody ever tested dosing over 1000 grams! Just fixed now. Thank you for your feedback!

Yes, that's how it looks like... unless the "numbers" we have for that mix are wrong. But my guess is that it is correct. 2ppm of Fe is a lot.

I'm running the nutrient calculator for MgSO4 and the value seems a bit high (228.17g)... :)

Hi Bing. That looks right to me, 5ppm of Mg is pretty high. Jason, Burr or Pikez can confirm?

The answer from the calculator is correct -- to raise 180L of water by 5ppm Mg, you'd need to add 9.13g each time.

Mg, being a component of GH, only really needs to be added during water change, to bring your new water up to the level you're trying to maintain in the tank. So if you're doing a 50% water change, bring the NEW water (90L) up by 5ppm. That means half the amount, or 4.56g, added with the water change.
