Newbie With A Plan

Hello everyone. Terrance in Bend, OR. I currently have a planted Flex 15 with a plan to start a Fluval 45 Bow in the near future. I am mostly interested in low-tech at this time. With 2 children under 5 it is always a challenge to balance family, work and hobby. Look forward to ongoing adventures in fish and plant keeping.

Nice! How long your tank have been running?

I’ve been running since January 2020. Low tech, eco-complete, sand and gravel substrate. It’s pretty heavily stocked but mostly as the Endlers are multiplying like crazy. I’m upgrading to a 45 gallon in the next few weeks. Buying plants, hoarding hard scrape and preparing my plan for filtration etc. I don’t think I’ll be able to convince my wife to go for CO2 but have convinced her we need better lights so fingers crossed.
