My new Anubius leaves have yellow spots and some older leaves that had yellow spots now have holes where the spots were. I don't have any pics right now but I'll try and post some tonight.

I had some GSA about 2 or 3 weeks ago and raised my ferts to what they are today, I may have raised to PO4 a little too much maybe. It was origianlly 3ppm per week now it's more in the high 4’s and the NO3 was about 22ppm per week and it’s now about 35ppm. Since then none of the new growth has any GSA

My tank parameters are as follows:

Size 125G

Weekly 50% to 60% water change

Substraight with clay mixed in and I also sprinkled some Osmocote, Dolomite and Potash below the soil before laying it. I capped it with black sand
My lighting is 2 x 54w T5HO on for about 7.5 hours and 2x39W T5HO and 1x96W PC on for about 1.5 hours in the middle of the lighting period.

CO2 is pressurized. My PH goes from 7.5 just before the CO2 comes on to 6.4 when the lights come one and stays around 6.3 to 6.2 during the lighting period.

Filtration: Fluval FX5 (about 400gph) and BeanAnimal Overflow (about 1500gph). The 1500 gph comes from a Mag 1800 and a Mag 9.5.

Ferts:
KNO3 solution. 30ml of the solution gives me 10ppm of NO3. I dose 15ml every day (7 days) for a total of 35ppm per week.
KH2PO4 solution. 10ml gives me 1.0ppm of PO4. I dose 7ml every day (7 days) for a total of 4.9ppm per week.
CSM+B solutiont. 30ml of solution gives me 0.5 mg/l of Fe. I dose 15ml every day for a total of 1.75ppm per week.

Plants are:
Hygrophila Rosae (Several Stems)
Hygrophilia Difformis (Several Stems)
Rotala Indica (Several Stems)
Anubias nana petit (3x) / nana (1x) / coffeefolia (2x)
Java fern (3x)
Sward Plant (1x)
Vallisneria twisted (several)
Cryptocoryne wendtii
sagitaria
Cryptocoryne pontederiifolia (I think... I know it's a crypt but not 100% sure of the type)
Flame moss
Christmas moss
Marsilea quadrifolia
Glossostigma

What could it be

Mike,

My guess is the yellowing was a deficiency of some sort. You mention that no more GSA since you increased dosing.....

I would simply trim these bad leaves. If conditions are good they will grow new ones w/o ever seeing the holes.. I have several types of anubias in my 220 and a lot of them and have no issues like this...but I did at one time :)

I would say the damage is from earlier conditions. Trim and observe...Note that it may take plants 1-3 weeks to adapt to even better conditions...

Thank you Gerry. I'll keep observing new growth over the next few weeks.

I can't image I'm under dosing so I hope it's just a matter of time.
