Well, it's been about a month since this scape was set up, and it's been through a few changes. There has been a lot of die back and a massive amount of organics released as a result. The wood isn't as stable as I thought it'd be and that has also contributed to the organic load. Consequently, I've had some algae issues, mainly staghorn and filamentous. Anyway, I removed the infested plants, and two massive water changes and a serious maintenance session later it looks like this...

Thanks, I guess the plants will rebound given time. I removed the moss and the trident. The trident wasn't transitioning well and had become a bit manky and home to staghorn algae, and the moss was trapping mulm and growing a coat of filamentous algae. I've planted some Bolbitis where the Trident was, which I actually prefer. It'll get there...:)

Just a quick iPhone shot post water change and maintenance. The stems at the back are really starting to grow well and colour up a bit more since I swapped out the Radion XR15 FW for a Twinstar 600SA.

Did you edit this picture? It looks much much better than the video, the tank looked very dull in the video but that may have been your camera. Was that the radion in the video or the twinstar? Love your rams, they are my favorite
