Just picked up some nice looking narrow leaf Ludwigia at the lfs! Or at least that’s what it was labeled. I was wondering if it being planted in my gravel and dosed with niloc g thrive would be enough to keep it looking the way it did when I bought it? I have a chihiros rgb 60 set at 57% now with red root floaters that I’m trying to get red but aren’t yet a trident java fern and Anubis of some sort not sure which type! I don’t not use co2 or dose liquid carb at all! How much fert would I have to dose to keep everyone happy but avoid the white film looking algae that I get on my glass sometimes? Thank you for any help!

Are those difficult to take care of, Dd1880? They do look quite nice.

They don’t seem to difficult. I haven’t killed them yet! They have grown a decent amount since having them. Only problem is keeping them in the gravel I have. They keep getting uprooted by what I suspect is my bn pleco. And the bottom of the stems keep getting mushy and almost melting away from the gravel. So I have to keep replanting them. Other than that the rest of the plant looks good!
