I noticed some kind of deficiency that I am also having (on the very same plant). I have rammed up CO2 but so far no improvement. I dosed KNO3 and KH2PO4 3x weekly with NO3 at 10ppm and PO4 at 2ppm.

Probably I need more K+ ?

i am still trying to figer it out to, its not co2 for sure since the co2 from one of power head going directly to it, and my co2 dc is almost yellew, i increased the kno3 nothing happened, i increased the k still no improvment, my next step will be dosing some mg.
am still having som problem also with rood meltting in the hygrophilia, may be not enough light making it through.
i will let you know if i over come the brown -hole spots problem

You could try doing a bit more pruning, to open up enough of the volume for water to circulate better. It is possible that many areas of the tank aren't getting much CO2. Just don't stop dosing phosphate! If you do, the growth will slow down dramatically, and green spot algae will start growing everwhere.
