Hi Guys,

I'm new to the hobby and wanted to share my tank to get inputs from you to improve my skills.

Here my HC Iwagumi:

light
- DIY 48 Watts PL 2X24 (8 Watts per gallon)

Tank
- 6 Gal

Substrate
- River Sand
- Laterite

Ferts
- Yamato Green

Filter
- Eden 501

CO2 System
- Milwauke with solenoid and bubble counter

Maintenance Regime
-50% weekly water change
- 3X a week Yamato Green
- 1 drop a day plant hormone
- 1bps co2
- Nitricot ferts in substrate
- 9 hours a day light exposure
- Temp at 28 Celcius

Fauna
- Green neon tetra
- local river shrimp
- Orocinclus

Flora
- HC
- HG
- Gian HG


Any thoughts guys

Nice lightyear,
Are you doing anything different? You still list the same tank parameters.

Oh I forgot to say: here's my gamble:

- Added Activated Carbon!!!
- Daily Ferts to complement loss of nutrients
- Light still 48watts / 9wpg
- Eyebrow raising: SIESTA 4 hours light, 2 hours OFF, and 5 hours on again

It work. I dont know why
