Hi, folks, I can still see deficiency just like same one as I posted before.

Progressively smaller new leaves, stunted growth and weakened lower leaves... Thanks to EI, now there is only one suspect. Hight light with low CO2.

It seems that my light has reflectors in it, so the PAR meter of it is higher than I think.

I'm trying to add more CO2 and only see fish panting. Maybe my lily pipe doesn't make enough surface agitation , so I decided change it with poppy pipe which shoots flow toward surface.

And more flow with bigger filter.

Before new pipe arrive, to keep a balance between light and CO2 temporarily, I made temporary light screen with A4 paper.

This will reduce light and make 'low light + rich CO2' situation.

    I wonder I'm heading correctly.

    Thanks.

Becareful! You are treading on thin ice with that. Light is the engine that drives your tank. If you block it and add more CO2, you will have issues with your critters. Do you have a PAR meter to get readings?

If you lower the light, you should lower the CO2.

Mine I have the opposite problem, low light and high co2. If I double up on my LED lights will it give me double the PAR?

    Pardon to bud in
Question:-- What is the best and cheap PAR meter?

These are the symptoms of Zn deficiency, though many variables can induce -Zn. Eg. excess Pi, Fe, Cu, B, etc. -Zn cannot be alleviated by adding more CO2.

Can you post some pictures of your tank and the plants, it might help diagnose what's wrong.
