    Hi all.

I started back about 5 years ago on this tank and did run Co2 for awhile but shut it done after a year.

I dose a little Flourish and Excel, running 206 watts of 10,000 K PC bulbs, about 10 hours a day.

    Lots of fish.:p

Will be setting up a 125 gallon next week.

I might go back to Co2 don't know.

    Substrate is Eco-complete.

Some Ghost shrimp still left also.

    Fish feeding time.

    Hi Jeff,
Nice looking tank. How do you get your plants so healthy looking with no C02? I have 108 watts of 6500K lights (with the ability to run 216 watts) 9 hours a day. Eco-complete, Excel 3 times a week, EI dosing once a week, 25% water change twice a week. My plants grow nothing like yours does. I fight BBA all the time and brown diatoms quite a bit. I have spent $400.00 (if not more) on plants just to lose them to algae. Since I cut down the light from 216 watts to 108, I have never seen the plants pearl. Do you have any idea what could be going on? Or, what I should try? It's a standard 55 gallon tank. 48 Long X 13 Deep X 21 tall. Any advice would be helpful. Funds are too short to keep buying plants only to watch them die.
