Hi
I have for the last 6 months been using the E.I method with fantastic results. This method definetily works the plants have never looked so good and no algae at all!!!!
My only problem is making sure the aquarium receives the correct daily dose as i have to rely on other people to do this. Not always so reliable!!

I have a few options for auto dosing the cheapest being the eheim liquid aquadose, which would dose daily for me.

Please could anybody give advice/info on whether i could mix all of the ferts together in the correct daily dose concentrations to auto dose for a seven day period etc. Can this be done ?? or will one fert effect the other or maybee i need two dosers one for Macro's one for Traces.

Ferts currently being used
KN03
KH2P04
K2SO4
FeS04
Flourish

Any Advice gratfully received

Regards

Re: Mixing Fertilisers When Auto Dosing

These can be mixed together:

KN03
KH2P04
K2SO4

These should be a separate mix:

FeS04
Flourish

Iron and phosphate tend to form FePO4 and precipitate out of solution so we always try to dose them seperately and at least an hour or so apart...

Re: Mixing Fertilisers When Auto Dosing

I've done this for about a year and this works well if the CO2 is good.
