Hi all,

I am starting up the dry start method with onyx sand and leonardite so I know I need macro nutrients. Would it be ok to use miralce grow liquid houseplant food. It says it's 8-7-6. It does contain urea but I plant to let the dry start go for three to four weeks. It says to use 10-20 drops per 1qt of water. Will that be good to soak the soil in?

Thanks

Well I just said what the heck and went for it. I put 10 drops per liter of dechlorinated tap water at about 90 degrees F. I won't be putting plants in till a few days from now.

I'd add more than that, go pretty rich, it'll wear off and get converted to NO3 later.
Add more at that same rate later, say in 5-7 days.
Add some mulm from another tank also
