Several months ago I bit the bullet and had Matt create a co2 regulator for me. I'm a long time aquarist, having bred 1000's of discus, recently the true altum angel, and used to show back when on the IFGA guppy circuit. I tell you this because while I was an experienced aquarist, this was my first foray into a serious planted aquarium and it was a custom 300 gallon acrylic tank. I need a co2 regulator that would work as I was just learning all the concepts around use and management of co2. Months later I think I'm finally getting my tank into balance between lighting and co2....ways to go I'm sure but one of the very best decisions I made was that regulator from Matt....great product, incredible service and follow up, and an absolute show of integrity every step of the way. Thanks Matt, Glenn

Altums are more tolerant of CO2 than Discus are certainly.
I've done 2 altum tanks, and had some in my 180 when I was at the last house.

They never seemed to have any issues with the gas IME.
