ludwigia (glandulosa, peruensis, perennis) witch ever you want to call it. i have one in my tank thats starting to turn green. and i was wondering if that means i don't have enough light or am i giving it to much. i read on some sites it will do it for both??

If its new to the tank give it some time to adapt. It took mine a little time in my tank with 3.1 watts/gallon. I add some supplemental iron via seachem iron along with my usual tmg dosage. It is really red in my tank at the top with a darker brownish red toward the middle to bottom of the plant.

I have seen pictures of it being purple. Wish I could figure out how to pull that off.

Green= not happy, CO2/dosing etc.

I've not found it that picky about traces, 5mls per 80 liters of TMG 3x a week works well.
