Hi I'm new around here, but very experienced in aquaculture. But I seem to struggle a little with taking good picks with my phone. Any suggestions? Or how you take pictures of your tanks.

If you have an android phone , I would suggest getting Camera ZOOM FX from androidslide and play with the manual controls of ISO, aperture and shutter speed. Apps that allow manual exposure settings will also be available for iphones.

That and a dark room should get you going.

In order to take epic aquarium tank photos, you need to follow these tips:
You should arrive early as soon as the aquarium opens in order to avoid crowds, The camera should be placed parallel to the aquarium walls in order to avoid distortion. Turn off the flash on the camera in order to prevent distracting reflections, focus on creatures close to the camera, and include human silhouettes as well.
Also, You need a good device to take a great shot. I just now tried it with my cheap Chinese phone.
