    hi,
sometime I read in english and sometime french. translation si not to hard but the worst remain to translate names (algae is the worst)

if I could get latin names, it would be easy to find out there names in different language so I could be sure I dont mixt things up.

    does someone know about this?

Yes, I know most all algae species' latin names, it's just many others do not.
Some, such as Green water are extremely hard to speciate without SEM microscopes etc. I'll get to it sometime, but it's not a small item and knowing it even at that point really may not tell us much.

If you search on the APD and my name, you'll find most of the common species.
I'll be doing each group of FW algae this spring for the BarrReports.

    Regards,
