This I had seen before, it is a good article.
It has just taken me a while (and a PAR meter) to get the more CO2, less light part.

Well, once you see that management is much easier with good light at lower levels and good CO2 is also easier, then the rest falls into place, then you can add the final piece, nutrients and the 2 locations into this model.
Then it makes simple sense.
Now you can easily predict the rates of plant growth and demands from plants for most any method.
