I opted for a new fert regime.
    EI daily
I noticed that i was burning through a lot of fertilizers
but main reason for this was to get to the plants fresh nutrients daily, i don't know about evaporation, dissipation, degradation, so i'm trying this method
I don't think many use this routine but the numbers are hard not to overdose especially in traces if your dosing dry and measuring.
    get like
.151g dtpa is really hard to do when your just pouring, maybe i'll start using a measuring spoon duh..
    but still
    3.2ppm N
    .6ppm P
seems pretty low to me, I'm not saying i cannot adjust, i'm just recommending rotalabutterfly adjust.
    so every other day
get 3.2 ppm N total per week is around 9ppm N, not close
with iron, even though lowered to .5ppm weekly, you get .4 or about the same, maybe over given that you use both csm and dtpa
but i use miller, csm, dtpa, and ferrous all in one

I'm going to give up on Ludwigia pantanal soon enough. My dream of achieving pinks/solid reds is no more. Usually when i give up on something it turns around last second. But this plant i don't think so...I call pantanal growers the secret keepers. A good few can achieve this plants FULL glory in the USA. I am not one of them, i am not pro.

Great new stuff, Dennis! Strange that pantanal doesn’t work for you- the stem I got from you has propagated nicely and I am getting some good color. Maybe your water is too soft or the pH is too low for the pantanal?

    Not even a single root
Its been forever in the tank and the leaf has yet to die
    decaying yes
    but dead no

Everything revolves around lighting in a planted tank...
    Lighting-
co2 is pretty easy, just stable stream, a consistency of getting the plants co2
ferts, you can either keep feeding the plants or just cure their deficiencies quickly when you see them deficient
o2, surface agitate, skim, does the job
water? could be key to some too
""But keeping my co2 constant at the same rate no matter what is never an issue
adjusting light intensity was for my case
I want fast growth, tree growth
For my plant mass right now, I do not go above 81 par
100 is max, if i filled in my tank fully no space or gaps
so even if i increase par, i'd keep co2 the same
Its easy for me is what i mean, some people are just clueless
my 20 gallon long i have to dial it in every day, no solenoid/timer, i have to make sure i get enough in, so algae will not form, and get it under way enough to not stress fish at all
co2 at high levels might not kill fish right away, it'll cause problems first and soon or later they'll just give in to death
so be weary with your fish, just because your not gassing them, doesn't mean they're not taking damage, you want them swimming around with energy and breathing easily

you go beyond say 120 par, without plant mass enough, you'll see problems almost within an hour...light will cause algae
co2 is very hard, very hard to go with these par ranges
so if your getting problems quickly you have to ask yourself am i putting in too much light?

    Extreme fertilization
I want fast über growth of trees
Beyond a certain range is not needed
I've gone up over 100ppm N, you actually see a drawback (i guess people call this an induced deficiency)
leaves start getting whitish as in lacking nutrients, but really all the nutrients are there
I'm start dialing in 12 ppm N each dose
I know i keep changing up my fert regime
    it doesn't really matter
traces i just take pinches out of each bag, i don't even calculate, whoever is so obsessed with the traces is like obsessing over well i don't have a metaphor at the moment
but its something so small in the planted tank, i don't even measure, why measure if they're traces and i can just pinch in dosages and no ill effects actually good effects as it brings more color
But going back, I was constantly dosing 30ppm Nitrate each dose, I didn't track everything, but straight dry dose into the sump
Even this much is good for the whole week
This is why i'm going down, 12ppm N, fresh nutrients, more frequent doses
Po4, i try get above 5ppm, it is a macro and it is lacking in the africana substrate

I've adjusted my dslr recorder colors, i did not know i could do this till now, under image effects
Now looks pretty accurate to the color lighting i have and what i actually see
I tried editing the audio to add a youtube song, sorry wasn't able to do so, it sounds creepy i know.
