No, best tied to a wood stem or a rock. Even if you dont bury the rhizome in the substrate, over a period of time, due to water movement, detrius and mulm cover up the rhizome, and sometimes sand or soil too layer over. All of which is detrimental to any rhizome plant, so the best way is to keep it atleast 3-4 inches above the substrate, tied to a rock or wood.

You're welcome Franck. I made a come back about 3 years ago to planted aquariums after 25 Years. Spent a lot of time, efforts and money in the last 3 years to bring myself to speed, and I have all latest equipment now, but the fundamentals from back then hold good still.

As everyone said, no. Most local pet / fish stores now carry glue that can be used to attach these types of plants to decorations, rocks, etc. I have found it much easier than trying to tie them on and the results look better.
