Hi..

in a new setup my E.Stellata seems to be suffering somewhat. The leaves curl, which they didn't before, in my old tank.... I moved to a different town, and waterparams. are different. Also i have more light now.

Setup is:
85G
2x125W HQL
Co2 is about 48ppm
pH is 6.8 with Co2 addition.
kH is 10-11
gH around 11

M 3/4 kno3, 20ml Trace, 5ml Iron
T 1/8 KH2PO4 1/4 K2So4
W 3/4 kno3, 20ml Trace
T 1/8 KH2PO4
F 3/4 kno3, 20ml Trace, 5ml Iron
S 1/8 KH2PO4 1/4 K2So4
S Waterchange 50%

Seem like a CO2 issue to me. Add more as long as the critters/fish are fine. Watch closely though when you do it and make sure you have moderate surface movement. What type of trace mix are you using?

Try cranking the CO2 then...I doubt trace mix has such big impact. You can always switch to commercial trace mix from Tropica or Flourish (not the trace but regular flourish). Give the plant some time to bounce back though.

Agreed, this plants gets squirrlely at low CO2 and that looks like it.

Good nutrient dosing and pruning, upkeep etc, then adjust the CO2.

Yep, CO2. With your KH, try a 6.4 pH. Don't worry 'bout that little CO2 chart. My KH is 12, and I find that a 6.2 pH works nicely.
