Is this regulator suitable?

that one would work, but ... i'd look for one with a lower output pressure. that thing does 200psi(we use between 10-30psi). look for one that does between 30-100psi(the low pressure gauge usually will go twice as high as the regulator will ie: 100psi low pressure gauge = 50psi output max). you can also find those for half that price if you're patient.

Those newer diffusers require a minimum of 30 psi to work.
I have a D model (0-200 psi) regulator on one of my tanks. I switched it to a lower pressure gauge b/c I am using ceramic ADA diffusers. No problem running a 0-200 psi low pressure gauge.

I wouldn't use an E gauge or higher, though, unless you are running multiple tanks and need to get line pressure up.

concoa 212s are nice regs.
