I've noticed this occurring in the late afternoon with the rotala singapore. Is it Co2 related? the leaves seem to twist and curl back. They do not look that way in the morning. Here is a picture.

Rotalas "close" for the night, are you sure it's not that? It's true that the species I've seen bring the whole leaf closer to the stem, not just half, but I don't know this particular species.

Likely okay, might just be an issue do to rapid growth, bubbles tugging on soft tissue etc. If they straighten out later.........etc.

definitely not the closing, that happens about an hour or so before lights out. at this point it has a hours to go.

They do straighten out later...i didn't think the bubbles could pull at the leaves that hard...I will shake them off and see if they go back to normal.

Normal! Some Mammal Deciding What Is Plant Normal...

Hi Shawn,

I am with Tom, I think this is just good (high) growth, you are watching the plant going through its growing pains.
