Is an ozelot flower stalk a precurser to plantlets, or is it merely a flower stalk. I would love to get some plantlets of my sword to give to a buddy but I have yet to see any. The thing grew from maybe a 4 inch diameter plant to about a 14 inch tall plant but no offspring yet. How do you propagate an Ozelot sword anyway?

I think all swords propagate by runners, some of which shoot towards the surface and develop new plants way above the substrate. Those I have had were very vigorous about sending out runners, making far more new plants than I wanted.
