Invasion Of The Crypts!

These 2 crypts are crowding my sword plant in my small 5-gallon Bowl. I don't think they are sending out any runners.
They could be sold to LFS, but I would like to keep two small ones.

Can anyone tell me the best way to trim them?

Can they be divided?

Crypts are very resilient as long as they go back in the same tank parameters.
One can trim lower leaves, trim roots to a bit over an inch in length etc...
But change their water parameters too much and they may melt.

Just what I needed to know.
I’ll work on them in a bucket of the same water when I do a large water change.
Because there’s not much room in the fishbowl.
