Hi guys
At this moment I'm using a knock-off ADA glass lily pipe. I love the shiny glass and the spiral effect and I do not mind cleaning them regularly.
Unfortunately, I've noticed that the holes in the inlet are too small resulting in lower water current, especially when small leaves block the inlet. This also reduces the co2 distribution. The lily pipe works great and adds oxygen when necessary but the spiral it forms goes downwards, pushing back some plants.
Does anyone know a solution that A) works great and B) doesn't disturb the aquascape? My background is completely black so I was thinking about a black JBL inlet and spray bar. The spray bar will be mounted on the glass of the background, the water going towards the front. This might distribute the CO2 more evenly when connected to an atomizer?
What do you think?
