I'm missing out! As a retiree on a fixed income with some medical issues, my going isn't likely to happen. I enjoy those things vicariously by reading about them here and in other forums.Tom Barr said:

I think most of us will have to be off the internet for a few days as we study our Bibles for the rest of those passages. I vaguely remember reading that back when I was 8, but where????

I collected wood galore today. Best pieces I've ever found.
I'll donate them to the auction at the Tampa Bay aquarium society tomorrow.
More wood and shallow low water in the rivers etc will be ideal, not much plants at the Lower Suwanne due to such low water(down 2ft, which is a lot there).
Lizard tail was growing very well, as where the swamp lilies.
And deer flies where everywhere, I got bit once by a skeeter.
The driftwood place off 98 in Inglis,FL is now gone, the building, everything, it's nothing a gravel lot now. I went by looking for the building 4x.
Tom's is still in business though in Waldo, FL.
The storms missed the Keys, so it looks like the Marine part will go well.
I'm heading to High Springs/RumIsland and Tom's Monday and then giving a talk for the Tampa Bay Aquarium society.

Hey Tom, where are you finding these fantastic pieces of driftwood? I'm going to be cave diving in the High Springs region in August, and would love to get away for a morning to see if I can find a few nice pieces for my own tank...

Otherwise, nab what you can.
Go to Blue Hole in Ichetucknee, it's a good cave dive site. I did my reserch in that spring bowl.
