I want to build a regulator, im in need of a little help.

Hi

So quick back story.
im living in germany atm, i have a 30L high tech tank.
it already has pressurised co2,but id like to give building one a go.

Im working at a locksmiths atm and there are tones of regulators lying around from welding etc etc
i asked if i could have 2 that werent in use, i got them.
im not sure if the are suitable, thats why im here.

so these are the regulators and there corrisponding gauges.
it say sauerstoff on the gauge, this means oxygen.
so question is will these gauges work? or will i need to get replacements?

when I saw the pictures I felt you were lucky to have two German Messer regulators, then realize you are in Germany.
gauges are ok, no problem with co2, but not be able to convert the gauges back to o2 service without proper industrial cleaning.
find right solenoids and needle valves, you can hook them up to your planted tank.

or should i invest in a quality product that'll last me ages?

I personally would not recommend any of those made in China/Asia "needle" valves. They seem to be floaty and difficult to stabilize.

I would invest in a better valve.
