I'm setting up a new low-tech 120x60x60cm tank. At the moment, i'm only using a single Eheim classic 2217 to drive the thing.

Been going through a number of different forums in an attempt to learn enough to hopefully not screw it up.

My problem now is with water flow and circulation.

I originally started the project with the goal of minimising water flow and surface disturbance but since reading more recent posts about how higher current is beneficial for low tech tanks as well, i'm just lost. So i'll lay down the 3 options i have and hope with your feedback i'll be able to minimise the mess ahead.
