how to hard plumb a tank

Tom, a while ago I asked about a veggie filter. You suggested that I hard plumb it. Did mean to have bulkheads maybe near the bottom side that have garden hose attachments or actual hoses or pipes permantely attached. Also, I would be pumping in water with chloramines, just add all the dechlorinater.

You could go either way, but permanent PVC is nice.
Intake water can be run through a carbon filter to remove Chlorine or you can add dechlor etc.
