I've done saltwater tanks for a very long time. I studied for two years prior to that since I could not afford a tank. Studying was the only way to manage the longing. I was reading the works of Moe and Sprung. Starting out, I was doing small sand beds and nano tanks when my LFS was still recommending under gravel filters.

Over the years, I have had seahorse and dwarf octopuses (not in the same tank). I have propagated and sold coral frags mostly Zoanthids. Three years ago we moved and I sold everything. Last fall I came across ADA and saw some amazing Iwagumi style tanks. I got bit by the bug again. I started studying freshwater planted tanks as this is my first venture doing one. Plants are still growing in. But I am enjoying getting back into the hobby.

I thankful to have such a thriving community in which to participate!
