It's been 2 weeks in my new 300 liters 120cm planted setup. Running 2 Eheim 2215 filters. Water temperature 25 degrees. Have been doing water changes 40-50% once every 3 days. Ph around 6.5, pressurized co2 around 30ppm. Fully carpet mainly glosso, some starogyne Repens, ananthera renki, ammania sp bonsai. I have 2 Kessil with lighting at 6 hours a day with ramp up of 1 hour to 85% intensity. Started dosing last week with seachem flourish and seachem potassium.

Everything was fine until couple of days back. Glosso growing well, except few growing vertical, but the main issue is with starogyne Repens, they were really growing nicely all of a sudden could see few of them turning white on leaves, color darkening and almost seem like dying have no clue why this is so. Need help from experienced people

    The substrate is ADA Amazonia

Also ammania sp bonsai died in few days of starting the setup may be poor stock or not sure.pl help

Many plants suffer in ADA soils during the first month or so. (But the hardy ones are really happy!) Likely the ammonia.

Get past the first 4-6 weeks and things will improve. Until then, it is hard to pinpoint what the problem may be. Back off a little on traces. At this point, you mostly need tiny bits of potassium.

Looks bad. But you need to wait 3-4 more weeks for the soil to settle. In the meantime, do lots of water changes and dose just potassium and reduce the light intensity a little. You can begin adding fish in one or two weeks too.

Thank you pikez for your advice. Will keep posted the developments I already do 50% water changes once every 3 days due to say I increase the %level for every change or change the frequency to let's say once every 2 days instead of 3 days?

Hi skija yes kept regular water changes and dosing rhythm lost all Repens (completely melted) and now slowly they have comeback again. Not sure the reason for melting. During the period I potted another Bunche of starogyne and they grew very well and once last couple of days they started melting. In my view the plants are probable adjusting. Initially they'd flourish and all off a sdden he melt and slowly comeback
