I have an aquarium of 240 liters
-CO2 pressure (Dupla pH controller)
-substrate cables (Dennerle 24W)
-4 x 54W T5 (1 JBL Solar , 2 Juwel (nature and day) and 1 plant grow (aquamedic)
-2 JBL E900 Crystal profi
-9W UV JBL -1 (very rarely use it only in extreme cases)
Fertile substrate using Deponitmix (Dennerle) and infertile substrate i use vulcanit (Aquamedic).
Also use line ferilizare Denner (A1 daily, E15, V30, Plantagold),and some DYi macro.
I started this set-up 3 days ago.All blanks will be filled by hemiantus cuba(HC)
Send me your opinions.

Welcome to the Barr Report forum!

Greetings from the Caribbean Basin. I'm a newby myself (keeping planted tanks since May 2008).

You do have too much light in there! I would consider using only one lamp for a tank like yours. Maybe adding another light for two or three hours to simulate noon time trough your photoperiod but not more than that.

I do like your aquascaping, nice terrain shape and driftwood pieces you got there. Once you get the HC post some pics.

Thanks for the tips! Advised me for how much time i must use the lights.Can you give me a lighting program. How long and how?!I use for now 2 juwel (day and nature) 6h/day.over some time i large time lighting 8h/day.In 3 weeks I will plant hemiantus cuba and i start aquamedic plant grow.Its oke?

Hi,

Looks great so far and very healthy... I like that you have a nice fish load and the fish can be seen :)

Very pretty. I like the hardscape and the sloping as well..

Another 2-3 months to fill in and it will look very nice indeed.

Looks good. Keep us posted as time goes by..

You may want to take single pictures over time and add as a slideshow. Is fun to see how the scape has progressed over time..
