    Good evening everyone.

I am fairly new to fishkeeping having just returned to the hobby after thirty years of absence. I want to get into aquascaping and have a 125 Litre tank to start.

so to start; I am wanting to pick peoples brains and read as much as I can and then start my new hobby.

There is so much I wish I knew before aquascaping. There is an amazing podcast called aquascaping. I highly recommend it. Everything from substrate to light to ferts. It's a great place to start.

Buy good equipment from the start. An aquarium no bigger than 12 inches high, a light for plants. Start with easy plants and just try growing them. Start with stem plants, green. Then work your way to reds and oranges. Once you have them mastered, you will be able to create N amazing aquascape. Enjoy the journey
