Aluminum heatsink (19"wide x 4.25" deep x 1.25" thick) with 12 Cree LED's mounted with heatsink epoxy. Six XR-E leds, six XP-G leds. These are the top of the line 6500K high output LED's from Cree. Wired in two series with two Buck pucks (one series for the XP-E, one for the XP-Gs) One dimmer for each line. Never need to turn these dimmers past 50% power otherwise you might overheat an LED and blow it. PAR between 40 to 700 depending on dimmer as measured in 11 gallon nano 19" deep. This fixture would work well for much larger aquariums. Ran for three months, 8hours a day.
