Guys, this is the first time something like this has happened to me.

Why does this algae occur?

I searched a lot and couldn't find the name.

It does photosynthesis.

It has a slimy structure.

It is sticky when touched by hand.

It didn't work even though I sprayed them with hydrogen peroxide and excel.

hello, it is a type of hair algae. The exact species doesn't really matter. Common causes are -too high light, too long light period, too little CO2 for the light, ammonia presence. Hard to say without more information about how the tank is kept.

In general : make sure Co2 injection rate and distribution of CO2 rich water is good . Manual removal of algae using a toothbrush and trimming affected plants. Reduce light levels and light duration at least until the algae goes away. Lastly some algae eaters will help add top-down control of the algae long term.
