Green Dust Algae: please help!

It's a good source with agriculture-grade ferts.

Just a random thought... Have you tried ferts from a different source? I had a mysterious issue a while back where a bad jar of re-mineralizer caused a bunch of headaches that went away after switching to a different kind. It would be inexpensive to try.

FYI, there's a GDA example I did in another 120 Gallon thread, but it was in a 180 gallon. Fixed and clean and clear for months. I still have not added any plecos to the tank. I will next week I suppose now I'm back from vacation.

Not sure, I go in and clean things real well, trim anything that needs it, CO2 went south, so the fix was obvious.
Did not return.

I've had this occur a few times. Not sure why, other folks cannot get rid of it. I cannot maintain and keep it.
Well......I can remove the CO2.............and neglect the tank............that seems to do it sometimes, but the other tank got Green hair algae, not GDA.........
So nothing consistent.

Plecos(Bushy nose) cured every tank I've tried that had reoccurring issues for clients and a test tank I did last year.

Hello,could anybody tell me what is the bushy nose plecos looks like?it is hard to identify the fish in my country,because most salesmen do not use their terminology..i find one kind fish which is called 'Yellow ancistrus' or Bushy Nose Plecostomus，we just called them 'Big yellow mustache'. Is it Bushy Nose Plecos? please help...

Hello, i had same gda problem and im going to tell you how i solved It.
No add MICROS.
No clean the glass.
Add macros, water chances....
1 month later clean the glass.
