Treatment Wetlands - Google Book Search

    Specifically chapters 5 through 7, 10, maybe 11, 12 through 16.

These pertain to aquariums quite well.
If you read this material, little by little, it will enhance your knowledge of planted aquariums a great deal.

The figures and explanations are good, it's designed more for folks like engineers, not aquatic botanist.

Read a chapter every week, then think about it for a week.

There's a lot of reading there.
And it's based on research on aquatic plants and sediments.

This is about as close to aquatic horticulture in research science as you are going to get.

    Regards,
    Tom Barr
