    Good morning Y'all.
I don't have a setup as of yet. I used to have salt water systems many years ago, but have since been away from the hobby.
I was recently visiting the grand kids and I observed my daughter in-laws fresh water setup. I was intrigued by how nice it looked planted and several fish swimming about. My guess is t was about a 75 gallon setup.
So I started wandering the internet looking and different setups and came across several aquascaping articles, and this has really peaked my interest.

So from here I'm looking into more information and will start planning from there.

    Thanks,

    Peter...

Welcome from another newly arrived member. I found the appearance of freshwater planted to be more appealing than salt and never looked back.

Well I’ve taken the plunge. Ordered a Fluval Flex 15 gallon, then ran by Pet store picked up a few supplies, to get started. Tank was delivered after lunch today.

Small tank and trying to keep it simple for now. I figure to go with a small school of tetras to start. I do like the looks of the Rummy nose & Ember Tetras. The local pet stores don’t carry them though.
I need a small bottom scavenger also, any suggestions?

My cleaner crews have always consisted of Nerite snails and Amano shrimp. They are fine with Tetras.

Thanks. I’ll have to see what they have locally. May have to try mail order.

They're both common enough these days to be found locally, and of course there's no big shipping fees. I live very remote so I use www.azgardens.com and they've been great.
