The above tank is the plants about a week ago and they are only growing more.

Hi Tom,

My fish tank's height from the top of the substrate to the light fixture is about 22 inches.

The light fixture has two bulbs each 55 watts of HOT5 making a total of 110 watts. I am running Pressurized CO2, EI method, and my photoperiod is 8 hrs a day.

I have about 6 Cory's in this 55 gallon tank along with other fish.

I would like to use this plant as a ground cover but before deciding whether to buy it, I have a few questions:

With my set up just how well will this plant do?

How tall will it grow with my set up?

Will my Cory's be a problem?

Is this a considered a stem plant?

I like the whole bushy look and it's something I would like to see in my tank. Please answer. Thank you.

It's an easy plant to grow and harder to uproot than other foreground like plants.
It's slower growing than Gloss etc........so it does not require a lot of effort.

Stem plant

It'll grow fairly tall, maybe 1 ft or more? But that would take a long long time.

Top it and it'll stay like the 180 I have.

If I'm not mistaken this is one of his high(er) light tanks.

It grows well before I added higher light.

Maybe 20% faster now. Less you might think.

Light is about 2x what it was.
