Hi,

Initially, I was planning on using amazon swords in the background and white sand in the foreground for my 200 gallon planted discus tank. I now realize I have a ton of Amazonia II ADA aquasoil and no white sand (long story, ordering mistake on my part). Before I start sending stuff back, I was wondering what lower light foreground plants might work. The lighting is 3 150 watt HQI MH and the tank depth is 28". I am looking for something hardy and easy but would like to get good coverage.

Thanks,

Andy

Crypt Green gecko is a nice easy to deal with plant.
Several other crypts will work as well, as long as they are smaller, and they can handle more abuse than most plants.

Some lower growing hygros also are nice, there are a couple that do well if you can find them. Moss rocks or wood can also be used.
