Hi all,

Before I go off half cocked as my Mom used to say....

I was watching the testing of the sprinkler system at work today over a very wide area of lawn. The thing that caught my eye was that each outlet head (spread every N feet) was fitted with multiple outlets in an outward circular pattern. This assembly covered a large area very nicely.

I thought it very effective and was wondering if that could be of use to us when distributing c02 enriched water?

I know that much sprinkler pvc is smaller diameter 1/2 or so as they want velocity more than volume...

Or is there such a thing already for our use? Could we DIY something? I know we could loc-line but I was thinking something much more compact that could more easily be hooked easily to our existing hardware..attach directly to a powerhead perhaps?

Or does such a device or methodology already exist?

It's Illegal... So "They" Say

Hi Gerry,

I have been using drip irrigation system components to direct CO2 and nutrient rich water for years. :gw

It has been a cheap and for me anyway, an effective method of getting CO2 or “extra” CO2 as well as nutrient rich water into densely planted areas or areas where circulation is cut-off for one reason or another. :)

I have used the with mixed, though generally disappointing results to improve general flow.

I tend to use eductors to power the “drip system,” though any pump work.

Turns out using educators is not only frowned upon; but illegal in Arizona, go figure. :p
