I'm using a Parker metering valve, and I thought it might be neat to use a Parker solenoid. However, after I did some digging around on the forums, it seems a lot of people bought them, but some had problems. I'm curious about a couple of things and hope you can help me out.
1. Is anyone still using a Parker solenoid without issue?
2. Are the newer models with the modular coils any better? Now, you choose the orifice, connectors, PSI rating, etc, then they offer several choices for the coils. I didn't know if these newer models are any better at continuous operation, or if they still get really hot. Does anyone have one?
Here is a link to the new coils.

Thanks!
