Is there anything that will rejuvenate the filter medium (gravel like) in my 2229, say, by soaking, so its absorption will be increased? Odd question, I know, but this stuff is expensive. :gw
No, you can simply clean it in warm water and return.
Activated carbon can be baked at 400-500F for 1-2 hours and that will rechange it(not as good as brand new, but perhaps 2/3-3/4 as good).
