This is an older paper on the effects on growth and uptake in Hydrilla using chelated Fe(ETDA).

CSA

An order of magnitude higher than what many assume Fe to be optimal.
Many stem plants likely fall into that grouping.

Translocation of Fe to the roots is higher vs from the roots to the tips.

Interesting. My next question would be what common aquarium plant, fish or invert is most likely to show toxicity earliest? Perhaps there's room for a new, safe base rate of Fe.
