Dear Tom,

Any suggestions or advice. I have anyway planned the following:

1> Large water change
2> Mechanical cleanup of algae as much as possible
3> Dozing nitrates to bring it to 10 - 15 ppm
4> A crew of Rosy Barbs to eat up balance spirogyras (or Hair Algae?)

Some further ideas or changes suggested from your side will be of lot of help.

Regards,

Gautam

Those are all good, Rosy Barbs will shred anything furry, moss etc as well.
Main thing is afterwards to keep on top of things, perhaps reduce the light etc to make it easier for you.
