Excel Dosing

I'm wanting to max out what I can in a non CO2, 2 wpg, no water change tank and was curious about folks experience with Excel in this type of setup. What's the max dosing that seems helpful?

I think perhaps about 2-3x the max amount, careful with shrimp and fish, they will respond poorly if you go too far.
