    Ive decided to flood my emersed cliff scape in the next few weeks and im going diy with the ferts so I'm interested in seeing what you guys use in your recipes and also wanted to check if my planned one is ok?


    Tank 60lx30hx45w or 80litres / 21 gallons


    Co2


    Tmc 1500 tile


    Ro water


    Macro Solution


    4tsp Potassium Nitrate


    1tsp Potassium Phosphate


    6tsp Magnesium Sulphate


    500ml Water


    Micro Solution


    1tsp Chelated Trace Elements


    500ml Water


    Dosing:


    Macro 3x a week. Mon, Wed, Fri (10ml per 50ltr of water)


    Micro 3x a week. T is for trace so Tue, Thurs, saT (10ml per 50ltr of water)


    Sunday is rest day so nothing...


    50% weekly water change.

    I might add vinegar to the trace mix HOT tap water(say 10 mls of 5% distilled).........shake good for a minute or two, then add the trace mix. DTPA can be added. Or Fe Gluconate or both.


    Since there's RO water, you should blend part tap with the RO, or add GH booster after the water change at the very least.


    KH via baking soda if you use 100% RO. Maybe enough for say 10-20 ppm alkalinity.

    Just for reference the trace consists of


    Fe 8.2% (EDTA Chelated)


    Mn 1.82% (EDTA Chelated)


    Zn 1.16% (EDTA Chelated)


    B 1.05%


    Cu 0.23% (EDTA Chelated)


    Mo 0.15%


    I have both baking soda and salty shrimp re minerise kh+ does it make any difference on the product that is used?
