Hello, i have a 50 liter tank full planted, i want to try to use the Estimative Index method but i’ m afraid that those liters are disappointingly, in order to find the dose. All this time I use the Ocean Nutrition series but I’m not satisfied. I have already bought the chemicals (solid fertilizer). So would you mind to help me find the dosage for those liters.

also,is there any case in order to change the solid fertilizer in liquid and use it weekly?

thank u

Yes, see the Estimative index thread and the PMDD+PO4 method, it should be more suited to smaller aquariums.

EI is more for 80 liters or more as dry powder dosing, liquids if you wish to do it daily, or have an aquarium under 70 liters or so.

I supposes you can do either, in every case, but it tends to more practical and more accurate to do it with liquids particularly on smaller aquariums.
