I am trying to establish a carpet of E. Tenellus (Micro Sword) in my pressurized CO2 72 g. Drop checker with 4 dKH solution light green.
My other plants grow well, but this seems to be an extremely slow process. The Tenellus really does not seem to be sending out much in the way of runners, its definitely not dying, its just sort of sitting there as I planted it for the last month. I received most of them in the potted form and removed them from the pots and planted them. Looking at some pictures of other carpeting plants, it appears that I should have further separated into smaller clumps? My substrate is small diameter gravel supplemented with Laterite, tank has been established for a year.
Any advice on getting this jump-started? Perhaps they only work well in a sandy type soil?
Thanks
